The Miniature Pony Rescue Centre
About Us:
Sadly, animals suffering cruelty and ill treatment is a major problem in our society today. The Miniature Pony Rescue Center aims to provide ill treated ponies and horses with a loving home.
Providing a Home:
We have provided a refuge for horses, ponies and other animals - including dogs, sheep and goats -
for a number of years. We currently care for all types of equines, ranging from Shires to Miniature Shetlands.
Most have been rescued in a pitiful state, having been ill treated by their owners or others. Please help the center by adopting a pony or by making a donation.
A miniature pony called Pip:
One of the ponies rescued a few years ago is Pip, a deformed Miniature Shetland who would
otherwise not have made it. Pip (who is featured in a book) is a healthy, fun-loving character who has enriched
the lives of those around him. The plight of Pip and others like him inspired us to establish the Miniature Pony
Rescue Centre, concentrating on the care and protection of Miniature Shetlands and other ponies.

Our Aims...
The Centre's Emphasis:
The Miniature Pony Rescue Centre is established to provide a loving home and a place
of safety for unfortunate animals like Pip the Pony. We would also like to rise awareness of ill treated animals focusing on Shetland Ponies and Horses.
"The immediate relief form suffering of miniature ponies and miniature horses, who by reason
of cruelty, ill treatment or sickness, are in need of care, love and attention." In particular to provide and "maintain refuges, rescue homes, sanctuaries or other
facilities for the reception and care of unwanted, neglected, sick or ill-treated miniature ponies and miniature horses."
