At Tiny Tales Pony Rescue Society, our story is rooted in family, horses, and a shared passion that spans generations.
What began as a dream over 10 years ago has grown into a purpose-driven rescue dedicated to giving ponies and miniature horses a second chance at life.
Our Story
Tiny Tales Pony Rescue Society was built by a mother-daughter team, Marilyn and Tara, who have spent over 20 years caring for horses side by side.
Marilyn first put Tara in the saddle at just three years old. Not long after, she bought her first horse—sparking a lifelong love that would eventually grow into something much bigger.
The idea for Tiny Tales came during a simple car ride home from work, inspired by Pipsqueak Paddocks Miniature Horse Heaven. What started as a conversation quickly became a shared vision—to create a place where ponies in need could find safety, care, and a fresh start.
In 2012, that vision became reality.
What We Do
From the beginning, our goal has been to provide a safe, compassionate space where ponies can heal, grow, and move forward into their next chapter.
As of 2026, we’ve rehabilitated and rehomed over 200 miniature horses, ponies, and even donkeys—each with their own story, each given the chance to rewrite it.
We believe every animal deserves care, patience, and the opportunity for a better future.

Tiny Tales is more than just a rescue—it’s a family legacy supported by a strong and caring community.
Our society proudly includes four generations of horse lovers, all working together with the knowledge, experience, and heart to support ponies in need. This deep-rooted connection is at the core of everything we do.
We couldn’t do this without the support of our community. Whether it’s through adopting, volunteering, donating, or simply sharing our mission, every bit of support helps us continue this work and reach more animals in need.
