Cookie's Story
Now halter broke, Cookie is learning to come off pressure and lead. She has been very accepting of picking up her front hooves but needs further training with her hinds. She loves brushing and scratches and will stand for hours getting groomed. She has a very cute and kind personality and tends to be lower in the herd with her friends. She has loads of potential with the right handling.
Cookie came in a herd of 35 other minis, nervous and unhandled.
She is currently ready for her new home, UTD with flu, rhino and tetanus shots, worming and we have successfully trimmed her front hooves, but will need further training with her hinds.
We would like to thank our volunteer Sue for all her time and knowledge. She has spent hours bringing her out of her shell and has done a beautiful job.
