Ruthie & Pearl

Ruthie and Pearl are looking for a loving new home after returning to Tiny Tales Pony Rescue Society. Originally surrendered from Alberta, both mares came from a history of neglect before finding safety with our rescue.

Five years ago, they were adopted into a wonderful home where they were well loved and received excellent care. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond their owner's control, they have now been returned to Tiny Tales in hopes of finding their next forever family.

Ruthie is approximately 12 years old and is in good health. She has always been a shy and cautious mare, but with patience, a calm approach, and quiet handling, she allows herself to be caught and enjoys gentle interaction. She stands quietly for the farrier and is up to date on her hoof trims and dental care. At some point in her past, Ruthie appears to have had several foals, but she is now enjoying a much quieter life.

Pearl is approximately 8 years old and is a kind, sweet-natured mare who is very easy to handle. She is also in good health. Last fall she experienced an impaction colic episode and spent 24 hours at Horizon Equine Veterinary Services, where she made a full recovery. She has remained healthy since and is current on both her hoof care and dental work.

Both mares have been well cared for over the past five years and are ready to begin their next chapter. We would love to see them find another caring home where they can continue to enjoy the comfort, companionship, and love they deserve.
