Miniature Horse & Pony Adoption FAQs
Any miniature horse under 40” are not suitable for riding. Some ponies may be appropriate for light riding depending on their size, training, and the child’s experience level, but this is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Safety and the animal’s wellbeing always come first.
While no horse or pony can ever be guaranteed “bombproof,” we do our best to match families with animals that have calm, suitable temperaments based on their history and handling, we always recommend to go slow, work with a trainer when needed.
While we can do our best to reach out we cannot guarantee we will be able to get in touch as soon as there is a match. Due to the volume of emails and communications we recommended following our social media pages and checking our website often.
