Tony's Story
Tony came to us from an auction with limited background information. We were told that he had been ridden in the past, but due to his small size, he will not be adopted out as a riding mini.
When he arrived, Tony had a previous injury that left scarring on his muzzle, along with open wounds and a runny eye. He has since made a full recovery — aside from some light scarring — and is now healthy and sound.
Tony can be a little nervous when being caught and is generally shy, but he truly tries his best and wants to please. He has a kind nature and is coming out of his shell more each day.
He has received his first vaccines, been dewormed and deloused, and was excellent for the vet. He does have a slightly larger left knee, but there’s no heat or discomfort, and the vet has confirmed that he moves soundly at the walk, trot, and canter.
Tony will have his booster shots and dental work completed and will be fully ready for adoption by November 25.
