Tony
Age: Approximately 8-10 years old
Height: approx. 40 inches
Colour: Bay gelding
Tony Adoption Pending
Tony came to us from an auction with very limited background information. We were told he had been ridden in the past, but due to his small size, he will not be adopted out as a riding mini.
When Tony arrived, he had a previous muzzle injury that left some scarring, along with open wounds and a runny eye. He has since made a full recovery and remains healthy and sound, with only light cosmetic scarring.
Tony is playful, a bit timid, and can be slightly nervous about being caught, but he genuinely tries his best and wants to please. He has a kind nature and continues to come out of his shell more each day.
Medically, Tony is doing very well. He is sound, has no current health concerns, and is up to date on his vaccines, dental care, farrier work, and deworming. He does have a slightly larger left front knee; however, there is no heat or discomfort, and our vet has confirmed it does not affect his movement at the walk, trot, or canter. It’s simply a quirky part of him now.
Tony is ready to be adopted as a companion and would thrive with an equally fun-loving gelding or playful mare. He was previously placed with a senior mare, and while he was adored by her owner, he was a bit too enthusiastic for the mare herself — so he came back to us through no fault of his own.
Tony is now fully ready for adoption and eager to find his forever home.
