Jack 

Meet Jack, a sweet senior gentleman who is ready to find his perfect forever home.

Jack is a smaller bay gelding, approximately 25 years old, standing around 28". Despite his age, he’s bright-eyed, gentle, and full of charm. He is halter broke, easy to catch, and thrives in quiet, calm companionship.

​

Jack loves attention and has the sweetest ways of asking for it — offering little “paws” with his hooves when he wants to be pet and leaning in for neck hugs. He is affectionate, kind, and enjoys a peaceful environment where he can feel safe and loved.

​

In the next 12 months, Jack will need to transition to a softer diet as part of his senior care. He also requires bi-annual dental work to keep him comfortable and healthy.

​

Jack would do best in a calm home that understands and appreciates the needs of a senior horse. In return, he’ll bring warmth, affection, and a whole lot of heart to his next forever home.

Jack is undergoing treatment for some clouding he arrived with in his right eye. We continue to work with our vet and daily treatment of an eye ointment is ongoing. 

​

Recently Jack was diagnosed with cushings. He has started treatment. 

​

He is worth very bit of extra work needed to help support him for his senior years. Kind, full of energy and easy to love.
