Oliver

Meet Oliver, a gentle and resilient 5-year-old miniature gelding standing about 38" tall. When Oliver first came into our care, he was struggling with laminitis and had rotation in both front hooves. But this little fighter has come such a long way!

Thanks to new medication that’s successfully lowered his insulin levels, Oliver is now thriving. He’s been off pain medication for over a week and continues to make steady progress. With the right ongoing care — a low-sugar diet, soft footing, no grass turnout, and consistent farrier support — he’ll continue to live comfortably and happily. He will likely remain on insulin medication for life, but he takes it all in stride.

Through everything, Oliver has shown nothing but kindness and heart. He’s one of the sweetest minis we’ve ever met — patient, loving, and full of spirit. Now that he’s feeling better, his cheeky side is shining through! He loves to buck, play, and zoom around, and would be thrilled to have a horsey friend to share his adventures with.

Oliver is up to date on all his care and comes with recent bloodwork. He’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and love to a knowledgeable, supportive home that understands his needs and celebrates his lively personality.
